D-Day: Normandy and Landing Beaches

American Cemetery at Colleville sur mer.
Overlooking Omaha Beach, the American cemetery contains over 9.000 white crosses perfectly aligned on a 170 acres plot which is conducive to meditation and remembrance. A chapel and a memorial add the finishing touch to this moving scene.

Tour operated by coach with licensed multilingual guide.
English and French.
Pick up and transfer by minibus from your hotel in Paris to our agency for boarding motor coach. End of the tour at the agency and drop off to your hotel by minibus.

It will be with strong feelings that you will visit some of the areas where the Allies fought to recover freedom in 1944. Normandy motorway. Stop at Caen : visit to the Memorial-Peace Museum. Lunch (drinks included). Pointe du Hoc (stop), Omaha Beach : Saint-Laurent (visit of around one hour to the American Cemetery). Stop at Arromanches and also on the way back to Paris.

La Pointe du Hoc.
The symbol of the gallantry of the young American soldiers and one of the strong points of the German fortifications, the famous Pointe du Hoc was taken by storm by Colonel Rudder's Rangers on the morning of the 6th June 1944.
