THE TOUR :
Reims, capital city of the Champagne region and the city of coronations where most of the French Kings were crowned. Although the town suffered much destruction during World Wars I & II the Gothic cathedral and the Saint-Remi Basilica where the coronation ceremonies took place have been preserved. Today, Rheims is a charming provincial town famous for its champagne cellars, production and hillsides dotted with
vineyards. |
