MONT-SAINT-MICHEL & CHATEAUX COUNTRY - 2 Days 

THE TOUR :

Discovery of  Normandy and le Val de Loire both of particular interest and natural beauty : luscious green countryside, long golden sandy beaches, elegant sea resorts, orchards and gardens, peaceful and flowery villages and rivers... This circuit presents the charm of provincial France and our guide will enthrall clients with information on these historically rich regions of  France. 

ITINERARY : 
Day 1 : We cross the western districts of Paris as far as the Porte d'Auteuil and take the Normandy motorway as far as L'Aigle for a traditional brunch at the restaurant "le Dauphin" (provincial bourgeois decor). At around 10.30am we take our leave for Mont-Saint-Michel and arrive around 1:00PM.We begin our afternoon by ascending the monument by the ramparts or by the village as far as the Abbey located on the top of the mount. Guided visit of the Abbey interior and the Romanesque areas followed by free time for exploring the gothic parts of the mount and the village. Departure for Angers; dinner and overnight stop at the Hotel Mercure Lac de Maine (or similar). 

Day 2 : Departure at 8:00AM with short stop at the Château d'Angers. Departure for Amboise passing by Cunault and Saumur. Guided visit of the Château of Langeais followed by free time for lunch in Amboise. We continue with a guided visit of the Château de Chenonceau; we then pass by Cheverny for an outside glimpse of the castle. Our visit to the Loire Valley ends with a guided visit of the Château de Chambord (the largest and most imposing Royal residence) surrounded by an immense park. We leave Chambord and return to Paris around 9:00PM.

HOTEL LE DAUPHIN L'AIGLE : Coffee, tea, hot chocolate, fruit juice , Croissants, bread, butter, conserves Cheeses, fresh cream, sausages, Fruits and apple compote.

HOTEL MERCURE LAC DE MAINE: Leek tart ,
Tarragon flavoured poultry served with two vegetables
Cheese and Whipped egg white with vanilla custard
