During the Renaissance period, the Loire valley was the
favorite place of the Kings of France and their courtiers who left behind many castles of amazing architectural elegance. Art and history combine with a certain sweetness of life in this part of the country known as "the garden of France".

ITINERARY :
Summer program : We begin by crossing the southern districts of Paris. Then we take the Aquitaine motorway as far as Blois. A guided visit of Blois castle offers an excellent introduction to the history of the region. Guided visits of the Chenonceau and Chambord castles are included during the afternoon.
During the winter season lunch is included at either the Hotel Saint-Hubert or Relais des Landes restaurant, (menus below) in summer, free time is accorded for clients to lunch in a local restaurant of their choice.
Please note : During the month of October, the Saturday visit to Chambord is replaced by the Cheverny Castle. In winter, the tour includes guided visits of Chambord, Cheverny and Chenonceau Castles. |
